Flat Glass Rooflight

With the growing demand on home and industries to introduce more natural daylight into workspaces, Addlite Coxdome have launched the innovative Flat Glass – an exceptional rooflight offering stylish looks and beautiful aesthetics.

As Government increase pressure on new buildings to provide as much natural light as possible through new and amended building regulations, architects and housebuilders are calling out for new and imaginative solutions that provide the answer to their questions! Coxdome flat glass can help realise the untapped resource of natural daylight with proven daylight technologies which offer uninterrupted glass surface and panoramic views from below.

Featuring a tough 6mm outer glass pane with ceramic edge coating for a sleek contemporary appearance, Flat Glass also boasts a slim aluminium frame profile, powder coated RAL 7015 Grey further enhancing the external design. To continue striving for a beautiful finish, the fixing screws have been designed so they appear invisible thanks to a concealed flush cover. The result? A beautifully designed skylight for the modern day building.

But it’s not just a pretty exterior, the rooflight has increased thermal performance offering an incredible ‘U’ Value (according to EN 673-2011) of 1.0W/m2K and a sound reduction (according to NEN-EN-5079) of 35dB coupled with an isolated internal frame to eliminate condensation ensures this rooflight meets the most demanding of specifications.
This all singing and all dancing rooflight also is one of the safest, the installed unit is impact resistant classification 1B1 (highest classification) according to BS EN 12600: 2002. Is there anything this skylight can’t do?
