Surespan Light AOV Smoke vents are automatic smoke exhaust devices. The basic function of smoke vent systems is to exhaust smoke, combustion gases and heat energy from enclosed spaces (production floors, storage spaces, public facilities, etc.) to the outside of buildings, in order to protect human lives and property. Surespan light vents are designed for installation on an existing upstand with a cap and flashing.

Technical information

Surespan Light AOV ventilation system provide daylight and smoke ventilation for easy installation on flat roofs on top of an existing pre-weathered curb. AOV Automatic Smoke Ventilation provides natural smoke and heat exhaust as well as comfort ventilation. The overlay base allows the vent to sit on top of the existing upstand.

Options include a smoke vent control panel, with accessories such as smoke detector, fire switch and fireman’s priority switch.
